<div>I haven't driven my TGP much the last few months because of winter, but the mileage was way down last fall (circa 15 mpg). This spring when I got it out the engine light came on so I did the paper clip trick to it and got a code 41. That was the only code. The code list I have says it's a Ignition Control Module issue. From the seat it seams to run smooth. How could a smooth running ICM cause such lousy MPG? <br />
<br />
BTW- Everything is stock on my car. <br />
<br />
Thanks</div>

<div>After 3 TGP/TSTEs I finally had a near death experience with my brakes this A.M.<br />
<br />
I think the ABS pump is failing as my front calipers have been dragging for a few days and this A.M. they failed (front brakes were smoking) and I had a high idle (3k until I shut it off when in Neutral). With the system depressurized pump runs for 25 seconds. Also it only takes 14 pumps of the pedal and the system is depressurized.<br />
<br />
If its something simple I'll keep the ABS, if not its VAC brake time for me.<br />
<br />
Last weekend doing some preventive maintenance I sucked out some of the old brake fluid, replaced it with some DOT III/ IV, didnt take enough out to need to bleed the Master Cylinder unit. Took out all the relays cleaned them up and reconnected them.</div>

<div>So I guess I am not completely new. I am almost 35 and I am getting the very same 89 turbo I wrecked when I was 16 from my dad. It was his car when I turned in front of some one on a dark night. He was not real happy. It got fixed though and he drove it for a couple more years before it developed a brake problem. For whatever reason he couldn't find parts for it and parked it in a barn where it has sat since. It does not look pretty right now but I can clean it up. I will go pick it up in a couple weeks. Since I know these cars brake systems are a pain to find can anyone point me in the right direction for fixing this? I am hoping that is all the work I really have to do mechanically. He had the engine completely rebuilt right before the brake thing happened. It actually did not need the overhaul as he found out later it was just a bad injector. So that sucks but good for me the engine should only have about 4k on it since the rebuild. Please let me know if anyone can help with the brake issue. Thanks</div>
