1997 four door integra, lowered, slipstreams, h22, turbo, running 18psi of boost. Thank god he pulled over so I could look under the hood. At a stoplight the kid pulls into the far right lane that ends just on the other side of the intersection, I see he plans to cut me off so I floor it in D and we take off, we stayed equal so I moved over a lane and let him scoot next to me, we waited until we got out into a semi-straight section and he blinked his lights and i sat bac and from a 40 mph roll we hit it, he got behind me and pushed me until about 90 and then he blew by me and I saw him like 10 minutes later in a parking lot, I pulled over and he shows me his shit,
lesson learned never race an acura with an intercooler if you are in a stock cutlass.
it was for sale too only 14500, I almost went across the street to the bank to get a loan, I very tigt car.

with those mods he should have blown by you from the get-go and put a dozen carlengths on you by 90mph...
what are slipstreams?

in not an attempt to hijack but to give a point..
at the 2003 w-body gathering i ran across a civic claiming 16psi boost he left me in the dust after i toped out 1st gear. he claimed low 13s and i would believe him.
i forgot to mention i had a 200lb passanger plus myHUGE ass speaker box in.. the one with 4 12's not the one i have now
a b22 alone N/A in that car can pull into 14s (manual)
IMO i think he was toying with ya.. either he didnt get on it or he did and wanted to make you think his car was faster then it was.
also with the 3.4dohc mounted to a 4t60e 40mph is not a good place to start a race from a roll. 35mph and hitting 1st gear is better or 2nd at 45mph and up is better for your cars powerband. At 40mph the trany will go into 2nd just below the powerband costing you precious time.

the H22's are way more fun then ANY B16 any day, way more fun, add boost, and that's a hell of a good car...
you may not have won, but still fun to hear about any race...

Wow... a H22 Turbo might actually have some torque. But a 97 Integra is not worth $14,500. Mods don't add to the value of a car. They usually make it worth less, actually.

But if he likes the car...
Think about it, whats a tgp worth? And we all know thats one of the cooler cars out there.

that depends. a few mods don't affect the value much, but i've seen totally customized cars sell for much more around here than they would have if they were stock

I know he was playing with me from the start, and no, I was not actually going to buy the car, college is enough debt for me right now, I just liked his set-up, and I wouldn't pay 14,5 for it anyways, considering I can get a 2004 civic, do an engine swap and lower it, build it myelf for around 14,5, so why buy someone elses?
nothing like getting your ass ahdned to you by someone that is actually into cars and not just some dumbass with stickers and a resonator
slipstreams are light weight rims
