On my way home from work, this pre 2001 Stratus pulls next to me. I figure this dude's gonna try to pull something, judging by all the winshield stickers, mainly "Mopar Performance" stickers. He got the jump on me at first but the good old V6 torque managed to pull ahead, and strange enough I was creeping past him, and I won by a fender length. Of course the goober does a fly by and keeps going... It sounded like a 4 cylinder, and I don't know how fast the V6s are in those things. If it was a V6, I bet I would have been toasted. :) Just thought I would share.

Makes sense.............most car magazines tested 1st gen V6 Stratus' at 16.9-17.2.

I watched one at a dragstrip and he was running 16.7-17.0.............all times are reasonably close to a L82 W-Body (which normally runs 16.9-17.3).

i've always wondered how fast they are. There's some kid at my school who's got some riced out one. Maybe I'll light his ass up sometime. From all I can tell he has painted calipers (yellow) which are cheap shit, a body kit, and a fartcan. Chances are he might have a CAI too.
