Tonight I see my friend driving his 1990 Chevy Blazer down our 3 mile road to our community. I felt like a race so I caught up to him doing about 50. Then we bolth take off. Before I know it i was doing 103 and about 5 car lengths ahead. I just got my 96 Regal a week ago and I am very pleased with its power.

Blazer's aren't much......its a truck......with a truck motor, truck gearing, and truck aerodynamics......that just screams power.

You guys crack me up...........*power* or *speed* used to describe a 155 hp tank.

What's wrong with 103?

Shit............I probably have 6-7 THOUSAND miles of 100+mph driving (and that's on the low side).

You'll have that when you go on leave to visit friend's/family in Iowa when you are stationed in California...............for 2.5 years.

I've done over 100 pleanty of times, hell I even got a ticket for 102 in a 55 once, what raises the insurance of the younger males is the accidents, because younger people in general have the most accidents.

Funny...............the ONLY time I've ever actually been nailed for 100+ was a 102 in a 70 zone on I-15 SW of Vegas :D

As for you..............*I* have never been in an accident, and in 12 years of driving I only (if you can say that  ) have 8 total tickets (67/55, 43/25, 102/70, 86/75, 74/55, 81/55, 94/70, 76/65).

Is it strange that I remember ALL of them, AND what speed I was going?

the reason for high insurance isn't fast drivers...it's people like my friends who have rolled 3 cars by the time they're 17

kids don't understand the limits of there cars...they push it too far and eventually loose it

i've been driving for an oh so glorious 3 years....yes i am 19...wreckless and ticketless....but ask any of my friends i'm not a slow driver...heck i opened up my gp last night on a curvy road...scared the shit out of my friends but stayed in my lane the entire time

i've learned my driving skills through trial and error...but in a more controlled enviroment the the open road...i can drift a RWD car flawlessly...i handle a 5-spd better then any of my friends...people are amazed when the ride with me since i'm 19 and i drive as well as i do

Heck...the first day i got my hands on a 5-speed i only stalled it once...never even rode the clutch...everyone says i'm a natural born racer...just wish i could make a living off it

Just to many kids think they can do stuff they really can't and try it on an open road and end up crashing

BIGBULS...i admire your persistence in these forums...while it annoys some people...somebody needs to keep the overbloated W-body ego in proportion...spread you grace among us in the other sections of the forum...let the world know that just because you have W-body doesn't mean you can beat your friends Neon...live long and prosper 8)

I love the jellybean thing in the sig that's fuckin great...my cousin has a white NX2000 we call "The Egg"

Is it strange that I remember ALL of them, AND what speed I was going? okay yeah accidents do raise the insurance rate but as of latly i've seen more young women getting into wrecks then young males  and the 2 i was involved in were unavoidiable one time i driving through the student parking lot and a guy that just barly turned 18 backed into my suburban the second time i stopped for a fire engine and the guy behind me slamed my suburban at about 40 mph :? so how is it my fault i got into those accidents and why the hell am i paying for them now  oh and the insuranced companies agreed that those wrecks were not my fault.
