I wish that it wasn't raining cause then you could see just how you stand up to that Jetta. What year would you say it is...just curious. I raced a Golf in the rain one time and it was neck and neck the entire way. But then we raced in the sun and he took me in the Z. :?

If it was a TDI, almost any w-body should take it. Don't take away a good win.

Sounds like a plain-jane 2.slow Jetta.
Just don't try the same thing against a VR6 GLX. You WILL see tailights.........they are a very nice match for a 5 speed 3.4L DOHC or a stock TGP.

I still want to try on a DOHC against my VR6.
Anybody want to line-up this summer in Colorado?
Bandimere is just a short drive away...

a friend i work with took me for a spin in his mom's 1.8T Jetta last week, i think my GTS could walk that thing no problem. i've never raced a VR6 Jetta....
