whats the likley hood of my cutlass with a 3100 could beat my friends 97 3.8 mustang. he is wicked cocky and thinks he can beat me and my friends grand am that 3.3 in it. the only mod donw to my car right now is my cone filter.. but im fixing my exhuast this weekend and putting the flowmaster on!!!

you are correct, the +'99 v6's are just shy of 200hp, but the 94-97s are pretty much dogs...if he has an auto you should $hit all over him, ford auto tranny's suck a$$

I've kicked the shit out of some 96-7-97 V6 Mustangs. It's an easy kill. Our cars have a gearing advantage.

'99+ --> 190hp

A fast W-body (LQ1, L36, L67) can pretty much slaughter even the newest V6 Mustang.
