i knew i was gonna get my ass handed to me off the line the thing is when we went from a 40mph roll i whipped him up to about 62mph then we shut down. well i'll see him tomorrow at work i'm sure i'll never hear the end of this loss now :roll: oh well.

When you raced him from a roll you picked absolutely the best spot to go from. At around the 38-40 Mph mark we are at the very bottom of 2nd gear and unless he had a reprogrammed PCM you should have put the hurt on him :D 1 out of 2 isnt bad. Nice work!

:lol: I'm pretty sure he means his 88 or 89(????) Cutlass w/ the 2.8 in it vs. an early 90's Regal GS w/ the 3.8(L27) in it.

That sounds about right, but a smart driver in the L27 GS coulda put the shift selector in 2 or 3 instead of OD, and still walked away from his Cutty no prob.

In mid-'95 they switched from the L27 to the L36...if it's a '95 it must be an early '95. Either way, good kill.
