im hearing a buzzing sound while accelerating....

sounds almost like a saw cutting wood, you know the whole buuuUUUUZZZ sound.....no change in driving or performance, just getting very annoying....anyone have any suggestiongs? I'm gonna change the oil/filter right now (minor tuneup) so any suggestoins would be appreciated....

I noticed something similar to this, for me it happens in 1st gear only, and the only thing I can think that it may be is the chain in the transmission making noise

perhaps we're not talking about the same kinda sound, but that's what mine's doing anyhow.

i did this once.. i added colant to the overflow tanke and left the lid open.. the lid was held back by the serpintine belt pully.. so there was a slight noise and went away.. unfortianly so did half my coolant tank lid :roll: ..

if it sounds like its coming from the cams i would say improper timeing
