So we didnt race, but last night i took my friend for a ride in my car, and opened it up a few times. Then, he took me for a ride in his car an hr later, and he opened it up. That car did not pull nearly as hard as mine, and he said that he likes the pull of my car better than his. After driving in his car, he seemed a little down because my heavy ass car pulled harder.

We were going to race this morning before i came back home(i went to mankato to party) but i got up before him and just left.

I still dont know if my car could pull of a win being 500lbs+ heavier than his.

The early ones were rated at like 160 something. I dont know what year is the cut off for early or not.

I looked it up online a few days back, and my friend said the same numbers i found online, 222hp and 3200lbs(wieght), I am not sure of the tq specs, but from the factory its supposed to run a 15.7. He has 110K on the clock, and i guess from what he says, the spark plugs that are in the car now, have been in there since the day it was made.

I think it would be a good race. What are the specs on the lq1's? Hp is almost the same, ft lb i not sure on but then they both weigh in at over 3,000 lbs. what do you guys think?

I think a 3.4/5-speed in a w-body would have no problem with the NA 3KGT. The 3.4/auto would be an awfully close race...especially if both cars are properly maintained . Give it a try and let us know, Shane. If I come across a 3kGT around here, I'll race it and let you know how the L36 does against one.

Sure, the 3.4/5speed might not have a problem, but we are talking about my fat ass vert here. I want to give this kid a run for his money, i think it would be a fun race, wether i win or loose.

I weigh in about 500lbs more than him, he has the hp edge, but i got him on tq.
