Z34 vs Intrigue & Newer Cutlass

We are on the hway comin back from the club, I'm runnin @ like 90-95, I'm minding my business when I pass these two cars.... well all of a sudden I look back and I have a cutlass on my azz and an Intrigue comin fast on my right... I'm @ like a 100 & climbing and the intrigue is still comin & he passes me, the cutlass is still behind me but I'm pulling away from him... well I floor it and I am running like 125-135 so I catch the intrigue & I smoke his azz, then I slow down... the cutlass comes from way the hell back and almost runs into the back of a semi trying to get in front of me so I let him over and the intrigue is comin up behind me, so I jump over and mash the gas and it was history... the funny thing about it was they had to know each other becuz they were both on the phone (my guess is with one another) 8) but it doesnt matter I left both of them... crazy isnt it?!?!

if someone was hittin that speed, id be worried about the tires blowin out. all tires have a speed rating and unless you have racin tires, the speed rating on most passenger tires is actually around 95mph(iirc)

Kelly Charger HR tires here...but i'd say the average spped rating on tire that come with a car are 112-120...it's always the same rating that the speed governor is at

my tires are rated for up to about 135 i think it was.....so he couldve been ok.....but on the w's gm tends to hold them around 120ish sooooo i am guessing thats where he was at

I have "Ben's chip" and I have the governor removed and i can honestly say my z34 hit around 135-140 MPH. I had to shut it down because the RPMs were getting dangerously high. I was on the highway next to my friend with a Mustang and thats the speed he said he was goign when we were on the phone with each other. I decided to test out my car for once, and yes i do have the tires that can handle the speed (H rated). However I don't beat on my car (too expensive) I just figured this badboy had to be tested sometime.

I fully well believe a Z34 could go above 120. What year was it anyway?
Some Z's came out with 240hp instead of the 200 or 220 they normally had. If you have the auto it shifts out of 3rd at 120. One guy got his Z34 to go above 200. But thats with alot of modding. Anyways, its very possible to hit speeds of 130ish in a Z
