reading the GM manual, it says to replace the lifters and cams as a set...
I still havent received my cam carrier wit cams, but one thing that struck me is how damn f@king expensive the lifters are! $16.XX from GMpartsdirect (part#17108288)...multiply that by 12 i need for just one side and YUCK! for lifters!
Can my current lifters be used witout possilbe damage to the cams? How can i tell if they are worn/bad or if they are still functional? Need the help cuz the $$ xpense keeps growing wit no results...my dad even mentioned a possible L67 swap for all the $$ investing in the car right now...lol..
