Snapped a few pix of it after he moved back in with me. BTW,that's MY Ranger next to it, (no flames please) Lumi was highly optionerd for a Base, pwr windows, mirrors, trunk release, (no tach though) had the style of tape/am/fm stereo that only came in 95's. 170K when he junked it and it still ran drove and shifted excellent, like I said in my intro thread, we had to junk it due to the the rear strut towers being rusted out so badly. Did get to ride in but never drove the '90 Lumina our grandfather had firs,t that one was in much better condition, but was really basic, crank windows, manual mirrors, basic radio, and a/c but no rear defroster.

Looks nice!! Optioned exactly like mine except mine is silver, and I found a factory cd unit and upgraded to it.. FWIW though, 95+ Luminas without power windows and locks seem to be extremely rare.. I've only seen pictures, never seen one in person..

And the Ranger is looking mighty fine as well!!

No, you really don't see too many with crank windows. The only reason I knew you could get them was because a lady I worked with had a 1998 with them.

Really? I've seen several Luminas with crank windows. But all Gen 1.5's had power windows, might have been std with the Gen 1's too, i don't remember. Truck is a one owner, 2003, got it in June '10 with 38K, it has 52K now. It's has the 3.0 V6 and automatic trans and A/C, that's it! no tilt, cruise, basic radio, manual locks, windows, mirrors. But it has does have a tach and 4 wheel ABS since all got those for '01.

I was able to find out that it was optional until 1999. So some '95-'98 Luminas had crank windows.

Yeah, they all had power locks. I don't know that I've ever seen one with buckets and a column shifter though.

Oh, I didn't know we were talking about those. I was thinking like bucket seats in the LTZ or something. Yeah, I've seen plenty of 9C3 cars.

I was talking about the MC LS's that had the 60/40 split bench seats and gear shifter on the steering column.



the style of tape/am/fm stereo that only came in 95's. Here's the one I was talking about, from what I've seen, seems to only have came with Base '95 Luminas, all 95-99 MC's and the 95 LS and all 96-01 Luminas came with the nicer theft lock radio with the auto tune and speed controlled volume. 5590 even though it's a basic stereo, you get 14 FM presets and 7 AM, which is quite a step up from the older GM radios which only gave you 4 FM and 4 AM.
