I thought I'd offer this up on here first before I Craigslist it.

The time has come to sell my fiancee's old 97 Lumina LS. It's just about to roll 170k, and we've had it 4.5 years now. I have a lot of new parts into it, but I just have too many cars now and I need to start liquidating, use some of this money from this car and some parts to pay for the wedding in September.

This car has new:

All 4 struts and alignment as of Summer 2010
Battery and Starter Feb 2010
Brakes all the way around July 2009
New front hub and motor mounts June 2009
Radiator sometime in 2008 ( I cant remember when exactly)
Alternator, belt Oct 2007
LIMs and tune up Jan 2007
Gas tank Nov 2006

I'm sure there's more I just cant think of it right now. It actually still has all of it's white paint! The rear quarters have the normal rust, under the gas door. I've Bondoed and spray bombed so it doesn't look like a roach. (been doing that each summer since we got it in 2006)

Here's the negative. Every now and then I get a P1870 code for a TCC slipping. It doesn't do it all the time, and it's not getting worse. That light comes and goes as it pleases. Still can pass NYSI with no problems.

Only other bad thing was a code for an EGR misfunction ( I cant remember the code). Read about it, took the EGR valve off, cleaned it and put a new gasket on, light has been gone since.

Also, the rockers did start to bubble a little bit, but scuffed and skim coated them. The trailering arms where they go into the body are solid, as are the strut towers.

Will have an aftermarket CD player in it that will come with it. On CL I am going to list it for $1800 but I will put it on here for $1600 or best offer. Would like it to go to a good home so I'll start here, but if there's no interest I'll put it on CL.

Right now it's buried under a pile of snow in my driveway, I haven't driven it all winter but it is still registered at the moment. These pics are last spring I believe.

I can vouch for Dave that the car is in fairly decent shape.....he DD'd it before he got the Grand AM. I've known the car for the 4+ years they've had it and would mak a great winter/ back and forth to school or work car for someone.

Free bump.

Thanks guys. If I didn't find the GA I'd still be driving this every day, but I love how the GA is optioned. The GA literally fell into my lap, I couldn't pass it up.

Last bump, if it doesn't sell this time around I am keeping it and DD'ing it next winter and not driving the Regal in the snow.
