Copying this from gmforum.com. I highly doubt someone on here will be interested, but I figure its worth a shot in the slight off case that someone might be interested. This will be going up for sale publicly at $10,500 soon. $9900 for you guys or $9700 without the sound system. If someone here REALLY wants it, I might be willing to negotiate a small discount, but don't shoot for the moon.

My Bonneville GXP is going up for sale, and I figured I'd give you guys the first shot at it.

87,000 miles
Fully loaded with sliding sunroof, 18" wheels, HUD, heated seats, 12 disc CD changer, and an aftermarket sound system.

Pictures can be found here:

Car has been properly maintained. Religious oil changes done whenever the recommended changes are due. Nothing wrong with this car at all. It has always been serviced by the dealer except for the last time I took it in to get wheel hubs replaced. Receipts available for all work done.

Blower motor was replaced with revised unit, gauge cluster was replaced, steering rack was replaced with revised unit, I personally replaced the tie rods with MOOG heavy duty ones, R1 Concepts drilled and slotted front and rear rotors with Akebono Pro-ACT Ultra premium brake pads. Optima Red Top battery. All tires have over 50% tread life and are Kumho ASX's. They were purchased last winter. Transmission fluid was replaced this last fall.

The car has an aftermarket, transferable Nissan Quality Guard Plus warranty that is good till 94,000 miles / 2012, which will give you the peace of mind of knowing that anything mechanical that happens to the car should you decide to buy it, will be covered under that warranty. I've owned it since 45,800. Registration is good till February 2010.

Kelly blue book lists this car for $10,230 in good condition.

I'm asking $9900, or $9700 without the sound system, which is way below KBB when you consider it comes with a warranty and a sound system.

There are a few defects, such as a few small knicks in the leather from the previous owner's negligence. The fog light/dimmer switch plate was replaced because it wouldn't stay on with a tan one even though it was gray from the factory. Haven't had a time to find a proper replacement for it. Some bulbs are burned out on the radio and controls, as is typical for GM cars of this year. There is one very small ding on the driver's door which can be very easily fixed. Head light and fog light tints are removable vinyls, although I think they look amazing with them on and helped the car win COTM here recently.

Sound system comes with the car if you want it, otherwise I take the amps and sub and wire it up back to stock. The rear deck 6x9's have been replaced with Kicker 6x9's and are run off of a 2 channel Directed amp. The line input for the amp comes from the rear door speakers, so its all stereo sound. I discovered that the bass-only factory 6x9's made it uncomfortable for passengers. A Kenwood KAC-9103D 900W @ 2 RMS mono amp powers an Alpine R12 in a ported box.

This question gets asked all the time, why am I selling it? I'm selling it because despite having been the most awesome and sexy car I've ever driven for the past 3 years I've owned it, I have to let it go. I still owe $6k on the car, and I'm trying to save up money to buy a house and start a family. A semi-luxury sport sedan has no place in my life right now. I'm not sick of it, it isn't broken, I'm not bored of it. Its pretty hard to let it go and my wife wishes I wouldn't have decided to sell it, but I have to do what I have to do to start a family.

If anyone is remotely interested, I can get plenty of interior and exterior detailed pictures. Car is rust-free and is located in northern Illinois.

Also copied from gmforum:

Ok, maybe if you guys had some more information, it might be of some use to you. We're going to be replacing this with an older, less high end car. At first we were looking at a 94-96 Cutlass Supreme coupe (with the newer dash), which we'd get for at most ~$2500, spend another $2500 on modifications (snow tires with spare rims, sound system, suspension, new brakes, shocks, etc maintenance, heated seats, etc.). However, we'd consider other options such as a Bonneville or Grand Prix. The 3 most important rules are:

1. no rust
2. white
3. sunroof.

I know, chick car, but she's driving it. The concept is that I'd use the remaining money from the sale to pay off the remaining loan I have on the Bonneville, and use the money to pay off more student loans. Basically a downgrade. So, if you have something that meets that criteria that you'd like to trade + cash, feel free to make me an offer. Doesn't have to be a Bonneville or a Grand Prix.

Also, I have TONS of recent (2 weeks ago) pictures of the undercarriage, interior, and exterior that I can email anyone who's interested.

Sorry to see this car go. I know you put a ton of work into it. I hate to ask, but what about selling the Jag instead? I know you put an insane amount of time/cash into it, but at the end of the day, the GXP is a more practical car than a Jag coupe.

I'm looking for a replacement car for my wife, as I mentioned above. Something cheaper. The Jag is a project car, and nothing more. A weekend driver when the weather is nice. Something to chew up junkyard tires. Its a learning project, if you will, just something to get my hands dirty when I get bored. Its not even insured right now, and buried in snow till spring. I couldn't get anything for it anyway. 87 Jags sell for nothing right now, especially ones with some body damage and an engine with blown head gaskets. In all honestly I would be lucky if someone offered me $1000 for it in the condition its in.

The Bonneville is a great car, but its not in my list of priorities right now. I explained this all in my first post. Its too high end of a car for me right now. I owe $6k on the car and I'm trying to buy some sort of a house this year or next year, and I can reduce that debt to $1k and still have a very nice car for my wife to drive since these Bonneville GXPs sell for $9k-$11k right now with this mileage. I've actually changed my mind recently and I'm now going for a 2nd gen Regal LS or GS for my wife to drive instead of a Cutlass. I can pick up a low mileage Regal for $3k-4k in decent condition and still have money for maintenance. My insurance would be cheaper, my gas cost would be cheaper, and the Regal would do much better in the snow. It just makes more sense for me at this point in my life. My wife loves the car but its time for us to move on to more important priorities.

I'm trying to save up money to buy a house and start a family. . . . . I have to do what I have to do to start a family.

Dude,

All you need to do to start a family can be found here, you don't have to pay anything, or save up . . etc:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procreation

(there's a section of reproductive strategies, it's really poorly written there's nothing about bondage or porn in it at all)

All of the junk that you need doesn't need to be purchased, it's all free (and I know this will be hard to understand, but hardwired into you) and the only thing that you could possibly need is porn videos if someone hits the wife with a big ol' ugly stick.

Just one small suggestion if your still intending to sell the car (now that you don't have to worry about buying kids), you should probably tell us the year of the car in the ad, many of us don't know.

Good catch. I had figured people knew all about these cars,. The Bonneville GXP only came out in 2004 or 2005, with absolutely no difference between the two years. Thanks for pointing that out.
