I just remembered that I didn't mention the fact that the light bulb that is supposed to illuminate the PRNDD12 on the floor consolde has never worked since I've owned the 89 Supreme.

So maybe these two lights, the ashtray and the gear shift, are connected in some way?

But I could of swore that I remember the ashtray light working before I removed it...hmmmm

um, why not just reply to the original topic? anyway i'd look for a bad fuse, or if they are on the same circuit, inspect the wiring. a multimeter will come in handy.
