i now know that you can use a 96+ lower intake in a 91-95 engine, so my ? was wats the difference between them and how would it affect engine performance? :?:

larger ports/ there more of a rectangle as apposed to the pre 95's rounder intake ports..

how bout low end torque? does that suffer?

over all both the head 96+ has more hp & torque. but that is also accredited to the newer heads (larger ports), upper & lower intakes, and the length of the intake runner's. so yes there is a bit of a power loss with the older setup, but not a whole hell of a lot of power loss.
