May be a dumb quesyion, but qwhere is the thermostat on a 96 LQ1? Thanks.

It's not under the gooseneck that the upper radiator hose clamps to?

I haven't seen a 3.4 in a long time, so I'm not sure, most are under the waterneck/gooseneck.

to find the t stat on your 96 LQ1 follow the top rad hose from the rad and in the pic if you follow the top rad hose it disappears under the tb well under the tb is the gooseneck/waterneck it makes a hard 90' bend to the left side of the car if ur looking at it from the front and the gooseneck/water neck is held on by two 13mm bolts hope that helps
