When accelerating from a stop, a very noticeable creaking noise is emitted from the front-end of the car. It does it just for a second, and I'm thinking it has something to do with the engine mounts (engine rotates backwards when accelerating?).
It doesn't usually do it when cold, only after the engine has been running for a little bit and warmed-up. I've tried spraying various lubricants (silicone, white grease, etc, etc..) on the top and bottom mounts, as well as the transmission mount, to no success.
Would you have any idea on where this noise is coming from?
Thanks for any help.
