Hi guys Great site.

Anyone have any Ideas how I can add blue headlights to my 94cutty. conversion kits , Lamps anything?

um...any parts store sells blue headlights. you need 9005 and 9006 bulbs

Nah I have an CuttySL it uses the 4351/4352 sealed beams.. I wish I could use 9005/9006.

oh gotcha. well you can take apart your sealed beams, and put blue bulbs in their place. it has been done many times. you can even silicone them in if you want, but from what i understand it's not necessary :D

I know someone has a write up either on here, or another site on how to remove the bulbs from the sealed beams and replace them with something else.

Might want to try searching or maybe even someone knows the address off of the top of their head.

If you just want to use colored halogens, then all you'll really want to see is the last pic at the bottom of the page.

Hell of a Set up!!! I thought about trying to convert the lenses and use the 9005/6... now I will!! Off to the local U-wrench-it yard... Thanks!!

What are you getting at the U-wrench-it yard? You can pop the bulbs out of your existing sealed beams. The connectors are the same so you shouldn't need anything at all.

Got 4 headlights for 4 dollars...didn't want to risk breaking one, and then having to pay 25 for a new one.

yep...i converted my sealed beams to Sylvania Silverstar bulbs...

Looks blue, hahah! Not really any brighter than stock, I think they're too blue which reduces brightness (6000K). I've been wanting to swap them out for some less blue ones (5000K) but haven't gotten around to it.

HID is supposed to be "white" right?

I saw a C6 at the gas station I work at yesterday. It was silver with the glass top with HID's ohh man did it look hawt.

Factory HIDs are 4300K which is closer to white, but you can get aftermarket real HIDs in different colors like 5000K, 5500K (more bluish), 6000K (blue), and 8000K (purple).
