Doesn't Steve Mann( I think thats his name) make them for the 3.1MPFI's? i think they're about $600 or more for them though since he makes them himself.....if I'm wrong, someone please correct me...also I think Ben had them listed on www.60degreeV6.com

Last time that I checked, there were only 2 companies that had them specifically for our cars/60*V6. As to the guy that took S-10 ones, I have seen them , and have ridden in that car, and it is fast, but Franz (the owner and was at the last meet) has done quite a bit to that car. The way that he did the headers, I do not think that would work in our cars.

I AM DEFINANTLY INTERSETED IN THEM ESPECIALLY FOR THE NEW MOTOR THAT I AM BUILDING.

Can anyone confirm these from SheerSpeed.com? (Check link above) Would believe the 3100 headers would fit, but what about the 3.1L MPFI and, of course the 3.4L DOHC?

Since you have to tight header bolts on a regular basis. It would be a pain to do that.

I would be up for it, but since I live in California they would need an Executive Order number (E.O. #) from the California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B) making them smog legal in my state................

i emailed him a few times but that nummer steve mann never got back to me. i am very interested in headers, and am willing to pay his price ($650 US, as listed) but if he doesn't get back to me there's no hope. OH THE HUMANITY!

i might as well just go jump off a bridge

wow...old post..lol...til this day Steve Mann/hamm/whatever never got back to me  ...been 1yr+, so I say he's MIA or dead  ...anyways, if you have a 3.1, the best route to take would probably be having a "one-off" set made locally unless you're swapping 3X00 heads/top-end onto your motor and want to modify the 3X00 headers from S&S to fit your engine bay. Same thing for the DOHC, a one-off is basically your only hope unless someone produces a set that will work w/o a lot of hassle and that they can have reproduced/made for a number of people. I'm inquiring about some exhaust work  for a number of people locally so I *might* also inquire about a set of custom headers for a 3.1 just to get an estimate for something of this nature.

clicking on the "Headers" thing on that site made Norton Anti-Virus have a shit fit...

anyway.... headers would be nice... but something I'm gonna hold off on... incase they're incompatible with turbo ;)

if I don't do the turbo, though, I'm definately gonna be interested.

it'd be hard getting to work in a DOHC engine bay

everything on there caused my browser to go into a shit fit from time to time, freezing and whatnot, I doubt anything from them will/does exist anymore, I emailed them last year some time..no dice...bastards :?

I know this wouldn't be a group purchase, but I figure I would tell you. This winter I plan on making my own set. I've allready come some drawings done, and some measurements taken. I'm still working on the final design, but if they work, I might be willing to post up the skematics for you guys to copy, and to make a set yourself's.

yah headers for a 3.4 are almost outta the question. john proved they help a lot, but he had major ground clearance scraping. i looked when i was tearing my motor, and there is no room. but a few ideas. the motor mount goes kinda under the front left cyl, holding the motor up. so maybe we could squeeze them between the motor and the front frame crossover thingy. just a thoguht, cuz they could fit under oil pan, tranny is no problem(maybe for auto), and then just combine with the back 3 and go back. just a thoguht. we really need to get a welder and a POS Z34 to do this with tho, cuz he dropped his 1/4mi by over a half second and totally blew the hell outta a CV shaft.

well, at least in the future, I won't have ground clearance issues

technically speaking, a lift kit will result in longer exhaust system life, during everyday driving. :P
