Hi Folks, just stumbled across this forum and registered...figured I'd post up here and say hi! :D

That is definalty the sexiest 04+ I've ever seen!! I love the wheels, and EVEN THE HOOD!!! Most aftermarket hoods are so ugly, but that one looks mean! :twisted:
Makes the GXP at work look like an ugly piece of crap.

Nice 04 GTP. 8) We need some underhoood/turbo pics. :wink: Also, get some real tires on it next time you hit the track so you can run some low 12's or possibly better. :mrgreen:

:oops: ...yeah I know, I've been meaning to try and find a real nice "country" setting by the water for some updated pics...just haven't gotten around to doing that yet... :roll:


Also, get some real tires on it next time you hit the track so you can run some low 12's or possibly better.

Yeah, tell me about it... :lol: ...these Goodyear F1s stick like frickin' crazy on the streets :D ...but not on the strip. Actually, for that 13.1 best time I swapped to my 17" stock wheels.

But anyway, I'm adding in a water injection system, a custom tweaked rear manifold (with adjusted/re-welded #6 pipe) for better flow dynamics and some more PCM fine tuning this week. I've borrowed at set of a friend's Mickey Thompson drag slicks and gonna hit the track on Saturday...so 12s are pretty much assured unless I totally fak the launches and with a some luck and an awesome launch...I may pull off a high 11 pass. :twisted:

What kinda hood is that??

It's called an Inferno Hood. Essentially similar cowls to the F1 style hood from the 97-03 gen GPs, but with louvres on the extractors. It's a custom hood available only through PFYC.COM

Like the No Limit GP tie bars under the hood 8)

buddy of mine in Ottawa works for IMCO Tool and i believe No Limit is one of there divisions.

Yep, small world eh? "No Limits" is the autoparts counter in the front of the IMCO Tool shop here in Ottawa.

My buddy (Mike) is the owner...he custom made those crossbars for me...as well as a few other goodies.

Yeah, sounds exactly like that (with cutout open)...that's Brandon's car (knievel over at ClubGP) and he has the identical turbo kit as I do.

I'll be hitting the track this Saturday (weather permitting) with some drag slicks for the first time and we'll see what I can put down... Gotta try and give Brandon some competition... :wink:

I just finished mounting some gauges in my car this past weekend. No pillar pods are available for 04+ GPs so I improvised with mounting the gauges in the airconditioning vents...interceptor (ODBII) gauge on the left of the wheel and a boost gauge on the right over the stereo next to the DIC. Here is a before and after:

Well...didn't end up getting to the track on the weekend... :cry: ...had some issues with tuning the car but I did hit the dyno. Car wasn't running 100% on the dyno @ 17 psi, was running lean and had some misfiring...but since then all has been resolved...and now I've got it running perfect at 18-19psi. 8)

Managed to pull off a 413 fwhp @ 466 wtq (~520 crank HP)... :D

Those are some pretty good numbers dude!

I like the improvised gauges too...who cares about heating and A/C. Then again, it probably dont' matter in that car...I sure hope that car stays warm and dry all winter!
