Anyone interested in a ram air hood for 91-96 Pontiac GP?

Fx designs will make custom ram air hoods if I can get 5 orders. So I was wondering if anyone would be willing to buy a ram air hood for their grand prix. Prices will be on here when I find out more info. Let me know if your interested.

What about '88-'90? Aren't they the same hoods?

Are the hoods for the 4-doors different from the ones for the 2-door?? I think they might be, so if they are, let me know if it is for the 2 or 4 door, cuz I have a 4-door.

Yes the 88-90 hoods are the same. I just picked up a louvered hood for my TGP from a 92 3.4 GTP, and it fit perfect (was even painted black already for me). I am pretty sure the 4 doors are the same also.

I would want to see photos first. I was looking into making a ram air hood with a real small scoop and an air-box under the drivers side louver that fed directly into the turbo for the TGP... 8)

Here's a link to a brand new GP hood with at least the holes for louvers (not clear whether louvers included). It is a little pricey at $495.99
BTW the auction has ended but with no bids, show its probably still avail.
I have an extra set of louvers if anyone wants to buy them for $50.

I can buy the same non-OEM hood for about $150(possibly with louvers, I called the place selling it but got no answer since I talked to some dumb broad there. :lol: ) I'll probably call back in a couple days so I can order the hood

Mike, yeah, thats one of the places that has the hood(there are about 10 sites I know of that sell them), also the hood sadly DOES NOT include the actual louvers/drip pans/etc.....

These hoods that fx designs make are not a direct bolt on, but need to be held on by hood pins. Before i had my grand prix, i had a beretta, and they just got done making a full body kit for the berettas, along with the hood. Believe me, the ram air hoods look sharp, but since there not a direct bolt on, its not worth it to me.

probably not...go to ClubGP in the pre-97 section and check out the hood post for us guys........a guy over there set a deal to get hoods made :wink: there are some pics of the hood in progress there also

BTW, I haven't been keeping up w/ the hood getting made so I do not know if it's for functionality, looks, or both.......either way, at least we're finally getting a few things made here and there 8)
