Carri wiping down the car!

Carri and I drove out to Eastwood Metropark and I got some pics of the most recent washing and the newest exterior mod: pinstripe removal.

No, I don't notice that much difference. But it does look good none the less!

Very clean looking!

I like it without the stripe as well....it is subtlely different, but better looking none-the-less, IMHO

Thanks! I appreciate the comments.

I used some engine degreaser to get the glue off, it was somewhat of a bitch to do, but it worked great, and we then took the car to get washed.

w/o is way better, John...

Why do the back ends of that style grand prix always sag?

UGH.. I know. It feels like it bottoms out over every little bump. I'm going to be getting some new struts here pretty soon, so hopefully that'll help.

It will...my cutlass did the exact same thing...when i unbolted my strut mounts, the struts compressed by themselves!!!

I used the cheap Monroe Gasmatics and they ride really nice...somewhat stiff too...add a rear sway bar from an LQ1 car if you can while you have it apart...trust me it was sooo worth it on my car

My shitty FE1 never sagged, ironically..

but wow that looks really good! big improvement from such a little thing.

I'll have to remember that. I wonder how hard it'd be to get a junkyard to pull one for me.. I'm sure I won't want to pull it myself...

seriously, to pull one you only have to remove the lower strut bolts on the passenger side, the exuast (usually falls off because its rusty) and then break the strut mouint...then remove 6 10mm bolts...its really not that bad.

Got mine out of a '92 Z34 that was hit up front

Goddamnit for the 3000th time, the LQ1 doesn't have SHIT to do with the suspension. Any FE3 rear bar will work.

Bah! Nope. I love the lightbar. You can send me some silverstar bulbs to throw in there, though, that'd be cool!
