I picked her up last friday afternoon... I've got a new engine in there, new timing belts, idler and tensiorner pulleys, new transmission fluid lines, new power steering fluid lines, a tune up, and some other crap... so $2,000 later, her she is... my pride and joy. I've got to sell the sedan first before I can register it...

I call that, I raped a original 5speed GTP, to get a engine for a sub-par excuse for a SE.

the GTP was a POS, half the paint was gone, the tranny was shot... give it up... the only good thing in there was the engine and the leather.
Glad people other than the assholes like it, they just cant come to terms with that fact that i actually got my car fixed, and they cant keep ripping on me for it not running... so now they need something knew... grow the fuck up, I PARTED OUT A GTP 5 SPEED AND IM PROUD OF IT.
I like my car. It looks nice.

Probably stock, my '90 TGP has the same lights in the C pillars.
The Petty looks nice Ross, I don't care for the top half of the bra on there myself though.

The problem is, the area by the miniquads has slightly faded off hue from the hood... and the bra disguises that line a bit. I'm dying to get the bumper painted, because its really the only thing amiss...

Wow... I take back anything I said earlier about parting out that GTP!!
If it had a 5-speed I'd steal your car!!
Oh, and I like the bra it looks good on your car. I should get one since I've notice [very few] stone chips on my car since only last summer, before that the paint was mint :?
Try out that Duplicolor paint if they make it in that color... I literally can't tell there is any on my car until you are like 1-2 feet away...

Sweet ride bro, a guy I used to work with had a red RPE. I had never even heard of such a model until last year.

You should get some leather doorpanels.

You should get some leather doorpanels.
they didnt show up until 94... I'd assume they would swap though.
AWeb80
04-29-2005, 11:54 AM
even if they did, i'm a nostalgic kinda guy. If you have a rare car, keep it that way.....and don't upgrade.....
but that is me.

Hmm, I never knew that, than keep it that way.
About the nostalga thing, just do stock upgrades and keep the car like it is.

As fas as nostalgia goes, everything is just stock upgrades, except for the exhaust, which i think would be a nice improvement.
Grand Moff Joseph
04-29-2005, 03:46 PM
Yeah, exhaust systems are one of those things that you have to go aftermarket with if you want any real performance improvement.

Looks nice. Did you decide on the louvers, I think they would add a nice touch.
Anonymous
04-29-2005, 07:36 PM
I would really like the louvres, but I'd have to paint the gtp hood and all. Its something I would like, but I still have a few odds and ends to take care of this summer...
The exhaust isnt for any performance improvement, I really want something thats a little bit more aesthic than those two giant rectangles...
