My friend got a pair of 10" JL audio off a kid but he didn't know the watts. They say 10W80 on the magnet. Anyone know what the watts are???

jl makes w0 through w7's (w7 being the best). i have never heard of w80's

yea thats what thought but he claims they say 10W80 or 08. i think maybe its a 3

Cant really give an answer till it is known what they really are but if I'm not mistaken the 10W0 is rated @ max 250 rms but thats @ the danger zone 125rms should give u optimum sound with those. 10's work quickly to respond to the beat but they dont carry the beat, if he is a bass "guru" adding a pair of 12's will carry the lows well. That combo will provide some ass tickling low's!
