Need more details!!! How long did the swap take? How much did you end up spending? Any pointers you could give to someone looking to do the swap in the future?

BTW, that L67 looks right at home in your Cutty!

Yeah, I'm jealous. How does it run? Does it throw you in seat or what?

Nice, what exhaust are you running on it? Get some more mods! When you go to buy a pulley for it, get one of the modular systems so you can bolt on/remove pulleys easily instead of having to pull them off and press them on w/ the pulley removal tool(rent one for the first time you change it, you'll need the puller....) in the future.

You mean that crappy piece of plasic that traps heat and increses intake air temps reducing performance, I don't see anything missing

hey guys, i am interested in the getting the acoustic cover....i know it looks cheap...but it completes the look...and the main purpose of it is to quite down the damn injectors...but im still debating that. as for the swap. i spent close to 3 grand all together on all the odds and ends, but i spent 1400 on the motor and trans which is a 99 with 39 thousand. the swap is really easy, just time consuming and l67swap.com is your best friend. i found i needed to use a drill and wallow the front whole for the motor mount, but other then that it goes right in. if anybody needs help im willing to lend the text to help you. as to how it runs....like a rape date!! im going to get the 1.9 rockers and a 3.something pulley..i havent decided i do want the modular one..i hate the push on pulleys. i also would like the northstar throttle body. ill post pics of my homemade thrasher stye air box...it has the plexy glass and everything!! the digital tech ecm makes the performance shift awsome. the exhaust i just cut the part that mounts to the manifold of the 3.4...and i welded on the part that bolts to the new motor...and i just have cheap turbo mufflers on it...but it sounds great. any other questions just ask

Sweet l67's rule!! I'd run a 3" downpipe to a high flow cat (or no cat) and then 2.5" all the way to the mufflers. Get a 180* t-stat and maybe shield the intake from the heat a bit better. Then get a modular pulley system and start with a 3.4 pulley. Also get a dhp or intense pcm. You may also want to get a scanner to watch the engine kr. www.clubgp.com is a good place to go to find out how to mod the l67. I don't have my engine cover on there, looks cooler without it.
